Our Journey

1930

THE BEGINNING

Northern Insuring founded by President Walter R. Hildreth, Vice President I.H. Chahoon, and Secretary/Treasurer Frank L. Kemp, with an office on Main Street, AuSable Forks. In 1931, E.C.D. Cameron became Secretary/Treasurer after the passing of Kemp.

1933

E. GLENN GILTZ JOINS NORTHERN INSURING

E. Glenn Giltz joined Northern Insuring, becoming President in 1941. He opened the Plattsburgh office on Clinton Street in 1958. An outstanding businessman and prominent community leader, he led the company until his passing in 1985.
