Adam joined Northern Benefits in March of 2003 and has seven years of experience in the financial services industry. In addition to a B.S. in Business Administration from St. Michael's College he has earned professional designations of Certified Annuity Specialist, Certified Fund Specialist, Certified Senior Consultant and Board Certified in Estate Planning, and is a registered representative of ING Financial Partners, LLC.

Brenda LaRose

Brenda LaRose first came to Northern Insuring in 1988. She became manager of the Accounting department in 1997 and an Associate Vice President in 2007. She oversees the finances for the main office in Plattsburgh as well as the outlying offices in Whitehall and Massena.

Brian LaPier, CIC

BA in Business

Brian joined the Northern Insuring team in June of 2001. He is a Senior Sales Executive in the Business Insurance Division, specializing in contractor, distributor, and school district accounts. Brian is also a NYS Property & Casualty licensed member of the sales team at Northern. He holds a B.A. in Business, the Certified Insurance Counselor designation, and is currently working toward becoming a Certified Risk Manager.

Chris Davis, CISR

AAS in Business Administration

Chris has been with the Northern Insuring team since November of 2000. As a member of the sales team, he specializes in coverage for public schools, municipalities, and social service organizations. Chris holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation, has completed the National Alliance School for Producer Development, the Dale Carnegie Training, and is currently working toward the Certified Risk Manager designation.

Chris Sidletsky

Chris, Account Executive in LEB, joined Northern Insuring's team in February of 2003. In addition to holding a NYS Life, Accident & Health license, Chris utilizes his exceptional product knowledge and attention to detail to handle service issues for both employer sponsored benefits and individually owned insurance.

Christine McMillan

Christine, Sr. Manager of the Life & Employee Benefits Div. and Northern's HIPAA Compliance Officer, joined Northern Insuring's team in December of 1992. Aside from overseeing the day to day operations of the department, Christine develops policies & procedures to comply with the ever changing Federal & State legislation in addition to the coordination of licensing & contracting.

Dick has been a part of the Northern Insuring team since May of 1992. He is a Senior Sales Executive in the Business Insurance Division, a member of the sales team, and provides marketing support to the Plattsburgh and Massena offices. He specializes in coverage for municipalities, public schools, and slate companies.

Ed Davis, CIC, CRM

Ed joined the Northern Insuring team in June of 1996. He is part of the Business Insurance Division, specializing in coverage for social service organizations, municipalities, and contractors. As Associate Vice President, Ed is also responsible for providing sales support and guidance to the sales team. He holds both the Certified Insurance Counselor and the Certified Risk Manager designations.

Jason Bruce

AAS in Criminal Justice, BA in History, MST in Teaching

Jason joined the Northern Insuring team in October of 2008. His exceptional IT skill set and general work ethic has been an indispensible asset to the Northern team.

Jean O'Brien

Jean joined the Northern team in 2002. She is Senior Sales Executive Assistant in the Business Insurance Division, specializing in the servicing of a variety of commercial accounts including municipalities, public schools and slate companies. Jean is also responsible for claims processing in our Whitehall of?ce.

Katherine Greeno

BS in Biology

Katherine, Marketing Coordinator, joined Northern Insuring's  team in March of 2009. She assists not only with the placement of Business Insurance Coverage for new and existing customers but also with insurance company marketing campaigns.

Lara Brown

Lara has been with Northern Insuring since May 2009. She is a Sales Executive Assistant in the Business Insurance Division, specializing in the processing and servicing of a variety of commercial accounts including public schools, municipalities and social service organizations. Lara is also responsible for claims processing in our Massena Office.

Laurie Mero, CISR

Laurie, Sr. Manager Business Insurance Division, joined Northern Insuring's team in June 1983. Her responsibilities Include the development of procedures w/continued focus on customer service & computer proficiency. Laurie oversees the department's day to day operations in the Plattsburgh, Massena & Whitehall locations. She holds a NYS Property & Casualty license and is a Certified Insurance Service Representative.

Lori came to Northern Insuring in March of 2007 with a flair for research and organization which assists her in her position of maintaining the integrity of our data as well as handling service issues for both employer sponsored benefits and individually owned insurance.

Michael-Ann Strack

Michael-Ann Strack was hired as our Receptionist/Word Processor in 2007. In just a few short years, she has proven to be an essential part of the Northern Team. Her attention to detail, her friendly and positive attitude and her ability to assist all departments has earned her the title of Administrative Coordinator.

Pam Vann, CISR

Pam has been a part of the Northern team since 1990. She is an Account Executive in the Business Insurance Division, specializing in the processing and servicing of a variety of commercial accounts including social service organizations, municipalities and contractors. Pam holds an Associates Degree in Business as well as a NYS Property and Casualty License, and is a Certified Insurance Service Representative.

Rachel joined northern insuring in 2005. Her “ Titles” are Advertising/Public Relations and Accounting Assistant.  Her positive attitude and the ability to do both of these extremely important jobs so well has made her a very vital employee here at Northern Insuring.

Randy joined the Northern Insuring team in 1990. He has over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry and holds the designation of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter. As Vice President, Randy is responsible for marketing commercial insurance, taking an active role in nurturing our excellent relationship with a variety of insurance carriers.

Rod commenced employment with Northern Insuring in June 1959. Setting a leadership standard for the firm as Chairman, Rod acts as Chief Financial Officer and continues to handle ten major clients. As a member of the sales team, he specializes in risk management for governmental entities and large business accounts.

Rosemary Souza-Botten

Rosemary joined Northern Benefits in April of 1989. As Vice President, Rosemary is responsible for employee benefits marketing and maintains a diverse clientele of business accounts, specializing in employee benefits sales. Rosemary has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from SUNY Potsdam, holds Life and Accident & Health licenses, the Registered Health Underwriter and Registered Employee Benefits Consultant designations as well as certifications in Consumer Directed Health Care and COBRA Administration. 

Sam Cross, CISR

Sam has been with Northern since 1988. As Executive Assistant in the Business Insurance Division she specializes in servicing a variety of commercial accounts including governmental entities, manufacturing businesses, contractors and nonprofit organizations. In addition to her other executive level responsibilities, she is involved in the review of all company contracts.

Sarah, Sales Executive Assistant, started her career with Northern Insuring in April 2011. Her job duties include assisting on account needs for the Selective Business Insurance Unit (SBIU) as well as providing customer service on a variety of commercial accounts.

He is an active member of our local community, most recently joining the Adirondack Young Professionals as a Board member. Steven began his Northern Career in the fall of 2010 and enjoys working with a well educated and customer service oriented team.

She is a Sales Executive in the Select Business Insurance Unit as well as a part of the Business Insurance Division sales team, specializing in select business accounts.

Timolyn, Sr. Account Executive, came to Northern Insuring in March of 2004. She joined the LEB team in September of 2005. Holding a NYS Life, Accident & Health license, Timolyn puts her strong eagerness to help with her vast product knowledge to work to assist a Vice President in very extensive sales and support for both employer sponsored benefits and individually owned insurance.
